Sensei enjoyed adventures with the late David Carradine who thought it clever to get in a sneaky palm heel. Sensei wrote several articles about the man who once invited him to the Barstow, CA set to observe filming of those awesome desert scenes of the movie Kill Bill.  Sensei also did some kung fu training at Carradine's home.  Sensei and Sensei Martha spent time together with the legend and his family.
